60+ Counts - International Day of Older Persons

In 1990, the United Nations declared International Day of Older Persons to bring awareness to, and to celebrate older persons. The 2019 theme “The Journey to Age Equality” focuses on existing and future old-age inequality and how we can create positive change in our communities.

By 2030 it is estimated 1.4 billion people will be aged 60 and over worldwide.
