The province of Alberta is undertaking a review of the facility-based continuing care system of Alberta in order to improve the lives of continuing care residents and families and better support staff and operators.

Alberta Health has contracted a third-party consultant, MNP, to undertake the Review. MNP is leading engagement activities with a wide range of stakeholders. MNP has developed a survey for organizations and individuals involved with continuing care to share their thoughts on the facility-based continuing care system. The survey will close on January 29, 2021. We have also developed surveys for residents, family members and staff to contribute their thoughts on the improvements that could be made to facility-based continuing care.
